The & OLE brand is made up of a series of vegetable juices and drinks where the flavor is Spain.
In the range we have several flavors, where we highlight gazpacho & ole, which has received numerous awards for its quality.
Gazpacho is a cold soup of Spanish origin, especially popular in hot regions. It is known to be refreshing and nutritious. The main ingredients usually include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, onions, garlic, stale bread, olive oil, vinegar and salt. All these ingredients are mixed and crushed until obtaining a smooth consistency. Sometimes water is added to adjust the texture and make it more liquid.
Gazpacho is traditionally served as a cold soup, often accompanied by small pieces of the ingredients used in the preparation, such as diced cucumber or pepper. It is a popular choice during the warmer months as it is served fresh and can help beat the heat.
Our gazpacho takes care of the ingredients from the beginning of the production process.
Our gazpacho is only composed of fresh vegetables grown and processed in the south of Spain, which is the origin of gazpacho and we have added olive oil of Spanish origin and salt from our Mediterranean Sea.
Baor Products is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality Andalusian gazpacho.
Gazpacho is well known in Spain and is consumed in all homes in hotter times since it traditionally offers several health benefits due to the nutritious ingredients typical of the Mediterranean diet that are commonly used in its preparation. Here are some of the possible benefits:
Rich in nutrients: Gazpacho usually contains a variety of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and onions, which are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants beneficial to health.
Low in calories: Gazpacho is generally low in calories, making it a healthy option for those looking to control their caloric intake.
Hydration: Due to its water base and liquid content, gazpacho can aid in hydration, especially useful in hot climates.
Source of fiber: Gazpacho often includes whole wheat bread, which provides fiber. Fiber is important for digestive health and can contribute to feelings of satiety.
Healthy fatty acids: Olive oil, another common ingredient in gazpacho, is a source of healthy fatty acids, such as monounsaturated fatty acids, which have been associated with cardiovascular health benefits.
Antioxidant properties: Tomatoes and other vegetables used in gazpacho contain antioxidants that can help fight oxidative damage in the body.
No cooking: Since gazpacho is served cold and requires no cooking, heat-sensitive nutrients, such as vitamin C, are better preserved.
Gazpacho has its roots in traditional Spanish cuisine, although it has become a popular dish in many other parts of the world. Its origin is ancient and has links to Mediterranean culture. The word «gazpacho» derives from the Latin «caspa», which means «fragment» or «piece», and refers to soup made with pieces of bread.
The original gazpacho recipe dates back to Roman times. Roman soldiers carried a paste composed of dry bread, oil, and water, which they could mix with vinegar to make a cold, nutritious soup. Over time, this basic recipe evolved and adapted with the introduction of ingredients such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and garlic, which are fundamental elements in the modern version of gazpacho.
Gazpacho is traditionally associated with the southern regions of Spain, such as Andalusia, where the warm climate favors the popularity of cold soups. Although Andalusian gazpacho exists, the recipe has varied over time and according to different regions. Today, there are many variations of gazpacho, some of which incorporate local and seasonal ingredients.
Currently, gazpacho has transcended borders and has become a known and appreciated dish in various parts of the world, especially during the warm months, thanks to its refreshing and nutritious character. Our gazpacho & ole is distributed in many countries around the world.
Traditional gazpacho has always been served fresh, without any type of pasteurization or conservation, since it has always been manufactured daily to be consumed in a single day.
In Spain, the gazpacho available in supermarkets is usually packaged in line with cardboard or in PET. These two packages are perfect for gazpacho, but they can only have a shelf life of a few months.
In export, the problem of shelf life arises, since gazpacho has a pH greater than 4, which makes pasteurization necessary if we want to be able to export since the shelf lives of the product are very short.
At Baor products we have our gazpacho & ole packaged in a glass jar, which allows us to distribute it to the entire world and have up to 24 months of expiration.
