The pomegranate juice concentrate is made from the concentration of NFC pomegranate juice. During the industrial process, water evaporates, which gives a concentration of the natural sugars of the pomegranate and also all its benefits.
In this product it is important to point out and distinguish the two types of pomegranate juice concentrates, cloudy and clear.
The raw material for the preparation of the two types of concentrates is the mass, an NFC pomegranate juice, only that in the case of wanting to manufacture clear concentrate, this juice must be previously clarified, by mechanical means or by enzymatic clarification.
Cloudy pomegranate concentrate is made with a cloudy concentrate, which has its usual 6-9% suspended pulp.
The pomegranate concentrate should have a deep red color, and depending on the quality and maturity of the fruit, it may vary somewhat to darker tones.
In 2 differents pomegranate concentrates, the differentes is the removal of all cloudy particles that make the product more cloudy.
Those particles are envolved in all the benefits of the pomegranate juice, and this is the reason why cloudy pomegranate are healthier that clear ones.
Pomegranate concentrate is mainly used to produce refreshing drinks or to make jelly. It is also used as an ingredient for ice cream, pastries or any product where we want a pomegranate flavor.

What is the difference between cloudy and clear pomegranate concentrate?
